President Trump condemned New York in his State of the Union address last night for the extreme abortion bill it passed on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. (If you thought The Left hated him before . . . !)

Trump: ‘All Children – Born and Unborn – Are Made in the Holy Image of God’

And not just New York, but Virginia as well.

Trump: “[W]e had the case of the Governor of Virginia where he stated he would execute a baby after birth.”

Sadly, Rhode Island and Vermont are proposing similar legislation.

Rhode Island and Vermont propose bills stripping most restrictions on abortion, declare the procedure a “fundamental right”

Mike Adams at Natural News raises an interesting question:

Democrats just legalized murdering their own children in New York… do you really think they won’t murder Christians and Trump supporters next?

Like Adams, Brian Joondeph also has questions. He asks who else in society will now become inconvenient? The elderly? The disabled? Those who don't pay taxes?

Infanticide Abortion May Be Only the Beginning

New York is not done with killing. There is now a bill in New York that would allow any one in the U.S. to come to New York for doctor-assisted suicide. There are no waiting requirements or residency requirements. Any one who has received a terminal diagnosis may come to New York to die.

After baby-killing victory, NY invites all to come and die

If New York thinks its going to make a "killing" and get rich by offering to kill humans, unborn humans and now the terminally ill (what if the doctor is incorrect in his diagnosis?), by offering services that many normal human beings find abhorrent, let me say this -- God has a way of throwing curve balls. Disasters, catastrophic disasters, can strike without warning, or explanation, and be so expensive that any money New York thought it would make by offering to kill in the name of the law, won't even begin to offset the financial costs of such.

Revelation 18 has quite a bit to say about end-times Babylon. She will burn so extensively that the smoke of her burning will be seen by ships at sea. Her burning is so devastating that merchants will mourn the end of selling in that great city.

An Old Testament chapter that is compantion to Revelation 18 is Isaiah 47, in which the prophet speaks of end-times Babylon. He also notes she will be utterly consumed by fire.

Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame . . . (v. 14)

Fire, then water. Enormous amounts of water.

Then an angel will cast a great millstone (possibly a meteor?) into the sea so close nearby that the great city is overwhelmed by the sea, and verse 21 says she will be found 'no more.'

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. (v. 21)

Compare that verse to this verse from Matthew 18:

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. (v. 6)

Perhaps we see how God will answer New York's abortion bill. In fact, the last verse of Revelation 18 has this to say:

And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. (v. 24)

Do we understand what we are being told here? God is going to UTTERLY destroy the great city, the city that regarded herself as a queen (v. 7), for her shedding of blood.

As if infanticide and assisted suicide are not enough, New York goes yet deeper into rebellion against God.

As President Trump reminded the nation last night, babies are made in the image of God.

So is man.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness . . . --Genesis 1:26

David Wilkerson, former pastor of Times Square Church in Manhattan, warned that transgenderism is a 'flashpoint' of judgment.

According to biblical prophets, one of the most significant flash points of judgment is “when your men become as women.” It seems we now have multitudes who say, “Don’t call me male or female, call me person.” Tragically, this emphasis on personhood has created a generation of neurotics with no respect for God-ordained roles. --Racing Toward Judgment, 1976

Once again, Virginia . . .

Truly we are in the last days.

Jesus: And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. --Luke 17:26

Dutch Carpenter builds life-size replica of Noah’s Ark, plans to sail it to Israel

What was it like in Noah's day?

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. --Genesis 6:8

The only way out of this situation we are rapidly sinking into here in America is to cry out to Jesus to save us, to turn from our wicked ways and to follow Him.

Revelation 18 says that won't happen. Just like the people of Noah's day didn't listen either.
