More and more it seems that the U.S. and Russia are on a collision course.

Let's use this last link concerning Russia's alliance with Syria and Iran to segue into Ezekiel 38.

And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him . . . Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee. --Ezekiel 38: 1-2, 5-6

Many Bible scholars and prophecy teachers believe Magog to be Russia, but there are a lot of Christians out there who do not. For myself, and for now, I personally believe Magog to be Russia. Fortunately, most Christians do agree that Persia is Iran, although there are some . . .

Ezekiel was given a prophetic word in which God has him speak against an alliance, an alliance that will involve Iran, Ethiopia and Libya and a nation that seems to be Russia. Given Russia and Iran's tight alliance, this does not seem all that unlikely that Magog is Russia.

One thing is for sure: neither Russia nor Iran care much for the U.S.
