Horrible and heart-breaking news coming out of Texas this morning. Thoughts and prayers for these victims.

27 people reported dead in Texas church shooting in worst church shooting in U.S. history – gunman killed by police, pastor's 14-year-old daughter among the dead

Writing a post about Christian persecution is always a tough one to write, but we must remember our brothers and sisters who have been killed for being Christians. I've had a few links bookmarked about Christians being killed for the faith, so will link to them today.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. --Matthew 24:9

I am sure there are more incidents out there. Nameless here on Earth, but not so in Heaven.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. --Revelation 3:5
