As many readers of this blog know, this blog often points out 'same-day' events.

Well . . . we have a VERY interesting one coming up, and it's coming up real soon.

Like April 19th soon.

This blog has been following the eyebrow-raising news that part of the Temple of Bel (the 'triumphal arch' part, no less!) is going to be erected in Times Square, Manhattan, on APRIL 19th.

The Temple of Bel stood in what was once the Assyrian Empire until ISIS terrorists blew it up in July of 2015. Its replica is coming to Times Square as an 'act of defiance to ISIS' declares some world heritage organization.

Many have found that it to be, again, eyebrow-raising since the news came in the aftermath of winter storm Jonas, named for a prophet who once preached judgment to the very empire in which this temple once stood.

David Wilkerson, in his book, Racing Toward Judgment (1976), devotes several pages to Jonah and his preaching to Nineveh. This blog wrote about this when ISIS came on the scene in June of 2014.

A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas [Jonah]." (Matthew 16:4)

This prophetic message of Christ is a dual prophecy. First, just as Jonah, Christ was in the heart of the earth for three days. He was resurrected and came forth preaching mercy and judgment. Jonah preached to Nineveh, Christ preaches to this generation.

But an even more significant prophecy is intended. Christ is saying, "When you see your society once again becoming wicked and corrupt like Nineveh, and when Jonahs once again appear on your streets warning of impending judgment, you can know the day of reckoning has come."

For as Jonas [Jonah] was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the son of man be to this generation. (Luke 11:30)

. . .God loves America just as much as He loved Nineveh. And God refuses to judge a society until "Jonah has had his day in the streets." (emphasis mine)

Jonah was in the news at that time because ISIS terrorists had destroyed the GRAVE of Jonah. Interesting for when Jesus spoke of Jonah, it was in reference to His own death and burial for He compared his coming time IN THE GRAVE to Jonah's experience in the belly of the whale.

With the destruction of Jonah's grave, he was in the news once more. And David Wilkerson had had a word in 1976, that the prophet Jonah would once more 'have his day in the streets.'

At the time ISIS destroyed Jonah's grave, I found that to be so close to what David Wilkerson had prophesied that I was quite comfortable bringing Wilkerson's words to remembrance, never dreaming that no! there would be more, and much closer to home.

Instead, a storm named for the prophet roared thru Washington, D.C., and then into New York City. In the aftermath of that storm, which this blog has written several follow ups to that event (see Winter Storm Jonas link in sidebar), not only did President Obama not repent, but instead, doubled down on abortion.  Now we see part of the Temple of Bel being erected in New York City, a temple that honors the god of death and slaughter, and a temple from the very empire Jonah warned that their lust for death and slaughter would have its day of reckoning with the Holy God of Israel.

On the SAME DAY, APRIL 19th, that this temple is going to be erected in Times Square, we see a very interesting news story about PRESIDENT OBAMA for that same day.

On APRIL 19th, we see the following from MAD MAGAZINE:

MAD Magazine Mocks Obama with ‘Strand-by-Strand’ Analysis of Gray Hairs

Do you see this?

On the SAME DAY the TEMPLE OF BEL is erected in MANHATTAN, a magazine associated with MADNESS and ALSO LOCATED IN MANHATTAN, will feature an issue PROMINENTLY MOCKING President Obama and what President Obama THINKS are his legacy accomplishments.

And it's not the first time we've seen President Obama associated with 'madness.'

Bel ascends, Obama descends.

That is what you call judgment.
