Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces. --Jeremiah 50:2
January 23, 2016, winter storm Jonas roared into Washington, D.C., and New York City, as the annual March for Life began in Washington, D.C. Many of us who watch on the wall wondered if the message of Jonas, named for the prophet Jonah, preached to the ancient Assyrian capital of Nineveh might also be meant for modern day America.
'Yet, 40 days then destruction!' cried out this Hebrew prophet.
The violence and barbaric cruelty of the ancient Assyrians had reached heaven, and God said, "Enough!"
The ancient Assyrian king responded with repentance and fasting and humbling in sackcloth and ashes, even for the animals of Nineveh.
This blog noted in the original post on winter storm Jonas the parallels between Assyria and ISIS, which came out of the same ancient area in the summer of 2014. Both cultures were (are) violent and cruel and barbaric.
Like ISIS, America's abortionists are just as violent and cruel and barbaric when it comes to the termination of unborn babies. They behead, crush, dismember and impale.
And that's what March for Life was protesting when winter storm Jonas struck. Abortion should have no place in the United States. It is evil.
Unlike his ancient counterpart though, President Obama doubled down on his support of abortion, in defiance of the March for Life. No call for repentance. No call for fasting. No call for humbling.
Almost immediately, we began to see an increase in news headlines of warnings. These are not prophetic dreams or visions, though the Bible certainly says those things can happen. Instead these are men and women who are noticing changes in the arenas in which they live and move, and like watchmen, are crying out that they are seeing signs of danger.
There have been increased warnings of meteors and asteroids (and now double comets), warnings of war, warnings of economic instability, and warnings of earthquakes. I have will list in tmro's post the additional links that have occurred in the last 2-3 weeks in these categories.
But now, we see something that should make us all stop in our tracks, and ask God for His wisdom on the matter.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. --James 1:5
The arch from the Temple of Bel is to be reconstructed in New York City.
Several have written in the past few days on this coming temple and have given some history on the Temple of Bel, and I have those links below. But I would like to add a couple of my own thoughts.
First, the Bible has something very important to say about Bel.
Bel is found in 3 verses in the Bible: Isaiah 46:1, Jeremiah 50:2, and Jeremiah 51:44.
Jeremiah 50 and 51 are prophetic words from the prophet Jeremiah about end-times Babylon.
This blog believes that America best fits the description of end-times Babylon. This belief was shared by Pastor David Wilkerson and Romanian prophet Dumitru Duduman, and I have linked (in the sidebar) to several fellow bloggers and researchers who have also concluded that America is the Babylon spoken of by Jeremiah.
Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.
Bel is coming to New York City.
Gesenius tells us that Bel is the god that was worshipped in the Tower of Babel.
Merodach was worshipped alongside Bel.
Gesenius tells us that Merodach was associated with "slaughter" and "bloodshed" of "human victims." His name is formed from the word 'mort,' which signifies 'death and slaughter.'
Jeremiah linked these two together in the same verse, indicating that their fates are intertwined.
Holman's Bible Dictionary notes that the name Merodach was Hebrew for Marduk, who was also called Bel. (1)
John Walvoord notes that Jeremiah is telling us that Babylon would be humiliated by being attacked and captured, and that Bel would be 'put to shame.' Walvoord also notes that Bel is also Marduk or Merodach. (2)
And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.
Walvoord notes for Jeremiah 51:44:
Babylon will be captured and destroyed. She will disappear as if the sea had risen over her to cover her. Or, to change images, her towns will become desolate like a desert. Swallowed by the sea or scorched by the sun, Jeremiah's point was that Babylon will be destroyed. God will punish Bel, a god of Babylon . . . (3)
Jeremiah is indicating here that God has an appointed day in which He will deal with Bel, and while we may not know the specific day, we know the specific place -- end-times Babylon.
Jeremiah notes that the Bel will be 'punished,' and that the Lord will 'bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up."
What has Bel swallowed up?
Gesenius tells us that this word means 'devoured.'
So what has Bel devoured?
In the aftermath of winter storm Jonas, a storm that approached as the March for Life began, and President Obama refused to repent, an arch from the temple to the god of death and slaughter of human beings is being set up in Times Square in New York City.
America not only refuses to repent, but now will openly allow a 'hat tip' to the very god of human sacrifice.
The result will be our ruin.
Jeremiah 50:2 says that "Babylon will be taken." When read in context of verse 3, the prophet declares that Babylon will be attacked and destroyed.
For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.
In the aftermath of winter storm Jonas, we have seen an increase in threats of war.
Babylon is being warned.
The very thing that Bel has devoured is about to be brought forth 'out of his mouth,' and that is blood.
In a strange twist, a 'companion arch' will also be set up in London.
How many of you remember the Summer Olympics of 2012, held in London?
Do you remember the 'bells' that were rung all across the Isles in advance of the Opening Ceremony, including the Great Bell in the Palace of Westminster?
Do you remember the giant BEL that was placed on the stage?
Is it just a coincidence that after the ringing of the giant BEL, that a replica of the arch from the Temple of BEL would be erected in London?
The 'rationale' for erecting the arch in New York City appears to be one of defiance.
The Guardian, December 28, 2015:
The construction of the replicas will be the centrepiece of events for world heritage week, planned for April with a theme of replication and reconstruction. It has also been characterised as a gesture of defiance against religious extremists’ attempts to erase evidence of the Middle East’s pre-Islamic history. . . .
Roger Michel, the IDA’s executive director, told the Times: “It is really a political statement, a call to action, to draw attention to what is happening in Syria and Iraq and now Libya. We are saying to them ‘if you destroy something we can rebuild it again’. (emphasis mine)
Michel's words eerily echo the defiant words of Isaiah 9:10, the words that multiple politicians, including Barack Obama, have uttered in defiance since 9/11.
The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.
Barack Obama even wrote similar words of defiance on America's 'Tower of Babel,' the One World Trade Center.
CNN, June 14, 2012:
According to reporters at the scene, Obama wrote on the steel beam: "We remember we rebuild we come back stronger! Barack Obama "
Is it just a coincidence that a replica of an arch from a temple that once stood in the heartland of ancient barbaric Assyria will be erected in New York City, in the aftermath of winter storm Jonas, a prophet who once warned ancient Assyria that they faced destruction? Is it just a coincidence that an arch from a temple, destroyed by ISIS, a barbaric group of Islamic terrorists that are descendents of ancient Assyria, would be erected in New York City, a city that seeks to be the 'late-term abortion capital of the world" no matter how barbaric the procedures?
Is it just a coincidence that this arch is being erected in the aftermath of Justice Sonia Sotomayor's words to an attorney arguing against abortion?
How Can Gov’t Function If It Can’t Make People Do Things They Believe Will Damn Their Souls?
An arch, representative of everything evil about Satan's kingdom, is coming to New York City, and Americans are openly welcoming it as a sign of defiance.
But is it really ISIS that America is defying?
Jeremiah the prophet declares that God, Jehovah, will not let this stand. Jeremiah the prophet declares that Babylon will be taken, that Bel will be confounded.

I am also linking to Michael Snyder's latest YouTube. Though he talks about the Temple of Bel coming to NYC, he doesn't really give any new information beyond what he has offered in his posts that I've linked to above. Instead, I am linking more because of the EARTHQUAKE WARNING given for March 29-30, and this begins at the 12:20 mark.
Temple of Baal and earthquake warning
In the video, Miranda Snyder notes the possibility of a large earthquake occurring because of the alignment of planets.
Curiously, June 23, 2015, a prophetic word was given to watch March 28-March 30 for a major event. This word was recorded on the Harvest Army YouTube. These two links are being passed along for your discernment.
9 months, 8 days
A second word was given on March 27, that New Zealand is to experience a large earthquake 'shortly.'
