A NATION UNDER JUDGMENT? California, Borders, Drought, Earthquakes

In previous posts I have written showing how the curses of Deuteronomy 28 are playing out in the headlines of America's news organizations. Again, I appreciate the positive feedback from readers about connecting headlines to curses. I've decided I will no longer be compacting all the headlines in 3 or 4 long posts; instead, I will be posting shorter posts here and there to make for easier reading. Here are some more of the recent headlines that have appeared since my last post in December.

Excerpt from my July post:

When a nation is under judgment, Deuteronomy 28 spells out how one can tell. We read of multiple examples in the early chapters of Exodus as the Pharaoh that opposed Jehovah came under judgment for his defiance against God's Will. Because of Pharaoh, food sources were destroyed, Egypt was littered with dead and dying livestock and animals, homes and public buildings were destroyed or heavily damaged because that's what judgments do -- they destroy and dismantle a nation's infrastructure and the economy. David Wilkerson wrote in several of his books the different signs of judgment upon a nation.

When a nation is under judgment, significant events take place at the borders.

David Wilkerson, Racing Toward Judgment (pg 67):

God's judgments have always begun at the "entrance gates" of nations, cities, and empires: "A cry of alarm will begin at the farthest gate . . . " (Zephaniah 1:10 LB). This is representative of the seaports, harbors, and centers of influx. It is significant that most of the Old Testament prophets warned of judgment beginning at the coasts. . . . Jeremiah, another prophet, warned nations that God's judgments begin as whirlwinds on the coasts of their lands, then spreading from one end to the other; (emphasis mine)

CALIFORNIA:

I wrote just a week or so ago about events taking place in California, a major border to the US. I won't repeat those links here.

DROUGHT -- THERE IS DROUGHT. NO RAIN. IT RAINS ON ONE CITY BUT NOT ANOTHER.

David Wilkerson, Racing Toward Judgment (pg 70):

Long, tragic drought. Rivers and streams will dry up. Water tables will no longer support irrigation systems. Crops will wither and die in the fields. . . . drought will spread and cover thousands of square miles. . . . There is no such thing as an accidental failure of crops. There are no secondary causes. It is God who shuts off the supply of food. God holds the key to clouds. All the water supply is in His hand. He measures every drop of rain and sends it to its chosen destination.

The same God who judged ancient Egypt by drought . . . will also judge America with severe drought: ". . . Thou are the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in day of indignation" (Ezekiel 22:24).
