In the face of so much criticism of President Obama being a "do-nothing" President when it comes to Russia and Vladimir Putin in the aftermath of Russia's invasion of Crimea and the Ukraine, and the downing of Malaysian flight 17, one can't help but wonder if President Obama's cryptic "more flexibility after the election" remark in 2012 to Russian President Dimitry Medvedev actually meant more flexibility to do nothing, in effect, to stand down, in the face of Russian aggression.
