From Daniel at Prayers for the People:

I saw a man upon a cliff.

Behind him an unmeasurable mountain of sin.

Before him an abyss and the word ISRAEL.

When the word ISRAEL vanished,

The man fell in the pit, buried by the debt of sin.

I believe the ties between the US and Israel broke today.

The pride of the US administration will be the downfall of the United States of America.

America, what have you done?

As many of us who have a heart for Israel, the apple of God's eye, are watching end time events unfold, we see that America is not going to just abandon Israel, but our President is going to throw Israel to the wolves, a nuclear-armed Iran.

A particularly brutal article at Times of Israel reveals that John Kerry, acting on behalf of President Obama, is particularly put out that (A) Israel is keeping security forces in the Jordan Valley (the U.S. wants the IDF out of that area), and (B) that Israel keeps "stealing" land from the Palestinians. Kerry's demeanor seems to indicate that something perhaps "broke" or "snapped" in the tension between President Obama and Israel.

Frustrated Kerry’s peace critique a heavy slap in Netanyahu’s face: A patently bitter secretary of state asks why Israel keeps taking Palestinian land, and why the Israeli public doesn’t seem to care about it

On the same day as this article, evangelist Billy Graham, who has been retired from public life since 2005, gave what he himself called his "last message" to America. I wrote my thoughts about this in yesterday's post. Many today probably don't know much about Reverend Graham since his last name isn't Kardashian, but Reverend Graham in his past crusades always focused on the message of the Cross, so his message Thursday night was not unusual. He's never been one to rail against sin though he admonishes against it, but I thought his message was perfect. It spoke exactly to the truth -- Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father, He is the only way out of enslaving sin, He is the only way to be redeemed.

We are hearing more and more about President Obama's stance concerning Iran -- they will be allowed to keep their nuclear program and there will be no serious sanctions against it. And President Obama's view for Israel is that they must accept this.

As we are reading this in the Times of Israel and Billy Graham is giving his "last message" to America, Iran has been showing broadcasting on its state-run TV, missile attacks against Israel, and we learn that Saudi Arabia is purchasing nuclear weapons from Pakistan.

Have we ever been in more destabilizing times?

The Middle East is literally a powder keg right now and I believe the fuse has been lit. Any morning we could wake up and learn that Israel has struck Iran's nuclear facilities. Then heaven help us if President Obama comes out and openly condemns Israel, which I am deeply concerned he will do.

To keep your eye on Israel, I highly recommend Bill Koenig's site if you are not going there already. He updates key stories about Israel at the top of his page throughout the day as events warrant.

Watch Kerry's demeanor during this meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu: PM Netanyahu meets US Sec of State John Kerry

From Debka (emphasis mine):

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu slams the interim nuclear agreement with Iran as “burying the possibility of a peaceful final accord.” He said: “Israel is not obliged by this agreement and will do everything it needs to do to defend itself and its people’s security.” debkafile: This was a dual warning: 1) Israel has abandoned its trust in Barack Obama ever complying with his pledge to its security and will henceforth act on its own. 2) Israel may yet exercise its military option against Iran’s nuclear capability – whether openly or covertly.

Israel’s most painful lesson from the two-day Geneva conference on Iran’s nuclear program is that the man who guaranteed to defend Israel’s security, President Barack Obama, is now marching hand in hand with Tehran towards a nuclear-armed Iran.

This is the reality behind the fuss and excitement surrounding the signing ceremony in Geneva Friday, Nov. 8, and the slick words gushing forth to put a convincing face on the interim deal put together between Iran and the Six Powers Thursday and Friday.

President Obama broke the news to NBC Thursday night: “There is a possibility of a phased agreement, the first part of which would stop Iran from further expanding its nuclear program. We are offering modest relief from the sanctions, but keeping the core sanctions in place, so that if it turned out during the course of the six months when we're trying to resolve some bigger issues that they're backing out of the deal or… not giving us assurances that they're not developing a nuclear weapon, we can crank that dial back up," the US president said.

Friday morning, when US Secretary of State John Kerry was heading for Geneva to join Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif for the final signing stage, it was still unclear what Iran is willing to concede. . . .

The accord to be signed Friday elevates Iran automatically to the rank of a nuclear power, which already holds Syria, Iraq and Lebanon under its sway. The radical alliance binding Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Syria’s Bashar Assad and Hizballah’s Hassan Nasrallah has triumphed. Israel fell down badly by trusting the Obama administration to break this axis up before it spreads more violence and havoc across the region.

Geneva fallout: Iran becomes a nuclear power, followed by Saudis. Israel loses trust in Obama

We learn from the Daily Beast that President Obama began "quietly" lifting sanctions against Iran several months ago, back in June.

Exclusive: Obama’s Secret Iran Détente

From WorldNetDaily: Kerry: U.S. considers Israeli settlements to be 'illegitimate'

Interesting that in this next article Debka used the word "rift" in the title of their article about the disagreement between Obama and Israel over Iran's nuclear program since Jordan is a "rift" valley" and the New Madrid Seismic Zone is located inside the Reelfoot "Rift" Valley here in America. Also, this article is dated "November 7," the same as the Times of Israel about Kerry's "slap in the face" to Benjamin Netanyahu and Billy Graham's "last message" to America.

Israel announced early Thursday, Nov. 7, that it is utterly opposed to the new proposal for Iran’s nuclear program which the United States plans to put before the two-day Geneva conference beginning later today .

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, when he met US Secretary of State John Kerry in Jerusalem Wednesday night, bitterly accused the Obama administration of yielding to the Russian-backed Iranian position. Should Tehran renege on the deal, the US proposal leaves it with the capacity for enriching enough weapons-grade uranium in 10 days to build several nuclear weapons.

This US proposal calls for Iran to halt enrichment of uranium up to 20-percent grade (a short jump to weapons-grade) and slow construction on the Arak heavy water plant for plutonium production. In return, the US offers a start on selective sanctions relief. This proposal is likely to be approved by the six powers at the Geneva conference.

Kerry was reminded of his pledge that “no deal is better than a bad deal.” This deal is bad, Israel says because it leaves Iran wth all the stocks it has already built up of 20-percent enriched uranium and the ability to continue the production of low 5-percent grade unrestricted.

Major Israel-US rift over Washington plan to let Tehran continue enriching uranium with sanctions relief

Netanyahu is telling us quite bluntly in this video that Obama's plan to step aside and let Tehran go nuclear is a "very bad deal."

Netanyahu: 'This Is a Bad Deal--a Very, Very Bad Deal'

A military analyst tells Newsmax that the Iranians "give up nothing," which means Obama isn't requiring anything from Iran.  Those who are NOT low-information voters remember that Valerie Jarrett, Obama's top advisor, is Iranian born.

Military Analyst: Iranians 'Give Up Nothing' in Proposed Peace Deal

In the midst of this with Iran, the U.S. is also making demands from Israel on behalf of the Palestinians, like giving East Jerusalem to the Palestinians for their capital. Now mind you, the U.S. not only refuses to allow Jerusalem to be noted as the capital of Israel on its official documents, but Obama's Democratic party BOOED Jerusalem at their convention in September 2012.

Obama Plans To Force Israel To Accept A Palestinian State With Jerusalem As The Capital

To shamelessly rip off Hillary Clinton's famous question concerning Benghazi, "What difference does it make?"  we must remember that as we do unto Israel, it is done unto us. If Obama forces Israel to face a nuclear-armed enemy, then we may face a nuclear-armed enemy (such as in this article). If Obama refuses to acknowledge Jerusalem as Israel's true capital, he may very well lose his own capital. If Obama forces Israel out of their strategic rift valley, we may find ourselves being forced out of our rift valley, perhaps similar to how Hurricane Katrina forced us out of New Orleans.

If we don't help Israel keep their security, we might not be able to keep ours. That's the difference it makes.
