NETANYAHU'S U.N. SPEECH

Last night on Fox News, Bret Baier was discussing with his panel (Steve Hayes, Mara Liasson, and Charles Krauthammer) about Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the U.N., and Steve Hayes made the comment that Netanyahu's speech was extraordinary because it revealed that Netanyahu must NOT have heard what he wanted to hear from President Obama in their private conversations or else Netanyahu would not have made the statements he did in his speech.

Krauthammer noted that he thinks Netanyahu is making a very public statement that the Israelis are prepared to strike Iran and go it alone, even while negotiations between the U.S. and Iran are ongoing, if he needs to.

I think many of us who have followed the interactions between President Obama and Israel since the two men came to office in 2009, know that President Obama has made it very clear that he does not want the Israelis to strike Iran FOR ANY REASON, so a strike now, while Obama is making very public gestures to Iran to engage them in direct talks, would anger him immensely.

Here is the panel's 4-minute discussion on Netanyahu's speech.

SIDENOTE:

Many reports of meteors streaking thru the skies over the U.S. on Saturday, the 28th. And Russia is claiming that an asteroid narrowly missed earth on Saturday. It was discovered only 9 hours before it passed right above our earth.

According to RT, a 15-meter asteroid, similar to the object that exploded above Russia in February, moving at a speed of 16km per second, was detected hours before it narrowly missed Earth over the weekend, according to Russian scientists.

“[The asteroid] was discovered on Friday night by our station near Lake Baikal and nine hours later it flew within 11,300km of the Earth’s surface, below the orbit of geostationary satellites. It was about 15 meters in size,” Vladimir Lipunov of the Moscow State University and the Sternberg Astronomical Institute indicated.

Yesterday, Obamacare went online . . . well, at least it tried to. Remember how Obama mocked Republicans when he signed his healthcare legislation into law on March 23, 2010?
